By using ADW Google MCP ("the Application"), you agree to the following terms.
1. Description of Service
The Application is an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to interact with Google Workspace services including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Gmail. The Application runs locally on your machine and communicates directly with Google APIs.
2. License
The Application is provided under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software subject to the terms of that license.
3. Your Google Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and OAuth credentials. The Application accesses your Google Workspace data using tokens that you explicitly authorize. You should not share your configuration files or refresh tokens with others.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Application to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
- Access accounts or data without authorization
- Violate Google's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Engage in any activity that is illegal or harmful
5. AI Assistant Actions
The Application enables AI assistants to perform actions on your Google Workspace data based on your instructions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions taken by the AI assistant. This includes sending emails, modifying documents, sharing files, and deleting content. We recommend reviewing AI-generated drafts before sending.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE APPLICATION. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS RESULTING FROM COMPROMISED CREDENTIALS, OR ACTIONS PERFORMED BY AI ASSISTANTS.
8. Google's Terms
Your use of Google Workspace services through the Application is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Application does not modify or circumvent Google's access controls beyond what is permitted by the authorized OAuth scopes.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time by revoking OAuth access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and deleting the local configuration files. We reserve the right to revoke the shared OAuth client credentials if abuse is detected.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
